WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR OUR FUTURE PLACE OF WORSHIP!

Since May 2025, we’ve moved to two services every Sunday, and there is a 100% Spanish‑language service on the first Sunday of each month and an english spoken small group..

GENERATION21 has gathered around 140 people every Sunday on average, sometimes reaching close to 190. Our current building is clearly too small and no longer suited to the growth of the church.

Finding a proper space in Biarritz or on the BAB (Biarritz‑Anglet‑Bayonne) is a real challenge, both financially and administratively.

We are looking for:

  • 500 m², including a worship room of 200 m² and a large entrance hall of 100 m²,

  • 200 m² of additional rooms,

  • easy parking around the building,

  • located in a business/commercial area close to public transportation.

WE NEED TO BE READY TO SEIZE GOD’S OPPORTUNITIES! As soon as a property owner agrees to let us use a building as a church, we must:

  • hire an architect and prepare plans,

  • submit an application to change the building’s use,

  • and, if doors open, be ready to commit financially.

A 500 m² space means, in addition to our annual operating budget of 40,000 €:

  • 60,000 € of annual rent,

  • 15,000 € in agency fees,

  • 15,000 € in security deposits,

  • at least 50,000 € in renovation and work to meet regulations.

For 2026, we have decided with the General Assembly to open a dedicated savings account / building fund called “New Place of Worship”, where we will save toward a future move.We want to be ready to take this big step of faith.

Will you walk with us?

First prayer meeting on a beach in Biarritz
First prayer meeting on a beach in Biarritz

In 2015, we were just a handful of people praying on a beach in Biarritz, seeking God’s will!

We started by renting a small room inside a holiday/vacation center. When the season started, no rooms remained available and we held our meetings outdoors for several weeks.

Next, we rented a small building on the outskirts of Biarritz, which quickly proved too small.

Later, we found a room near Biarritz’s airport, in a building that we successfully expanded twice over five years.

Today, we gather around 150 people on Sundays, and our dream before God is to rent or buy a facility of at least 500 m².

We would like to create there a true life‑center that could host a Christian conference center, where we can bring the church together and invite impactful ministries. We are also ready to build a partnership with a biblical training institute.

Finally, we will have enough space to continue our social and humanitarian outreach, which has already reached thousands of people over the last ten years, especially through the “One Box, One Smile” project (“Une boîte, un sourire”).

If we were to buy a building of this size, such a project would represent a budget of one million euros in the Biarritz‑Anglet‑Bidart area.

If we rent, we would need to allow for a monthly rent of 5,000 €, plus agency fees, security deposits, and costs of renovation and bringing the building up to code.

We are currently visiting different spaces and in contact with the city of Biarritz, financial advisors, and real‑estate agents. We must be ready to respond as soon as we find the building that matches our vision.

That’s why we need to raise 150,000 € by 2026!
